Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information KhaleejCV (“we”, “us”), operated by Muhammad Ali in Pakistan, collects and how we use it. It applies to https://khaleejcv.io.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and a password, which is stored only as a secure hash — never in plain text.
• CV content: the details you enter to build your CV — name, contact information, experience, education, skills, languages, and optional fields such as a profile photo and Gulf-specific details (e.g. nationality and visa/residency status). You choose what to add.
• Usage data: basic, mostly anonymised analytics (such as pages visited) to understand how the service is used and improve it.
• Payment information: if you make a purchase, it is processed by Paddle (see below). KhaleejCV does not collect or store your card or bank details.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the service: to create and secure your account, to save and display your CVs, to let you preview and download them, and to respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties and processors

• Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd): our payments provider and Merchant of Record. When you buy an upgrade, Paddle processes the payment and the billing details you give them. We receive only confirmation of the purchase, not your card details. See Paddle’s own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
• Hosting provider: the service and its database are hosted with a third-party cloud hosting provider that stores your data on our behalf.
• Analytics provider: we may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to measure aggregate usage.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember a CV draft you start before creating an account. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Data retention

We keep your account and CV content until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Purchase records may be retained by Paddle as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can access and edit your CVs from your hub at any time, export them by downloading the PDF, and delete any CV or your whole account. To request access to, a copy of, or deletion of your personal data, email support@khaleejcv.io and we will respond within a reasonable time.

International users

KhaleejCV serves users in the Gulf and elsewhere. Your data may be processed and stored in countries other than your own (including by our hosting and payment providers). By using the service you consent to this transfer and processing, carried out with appropriate safeguards.
