Is KhaleejCV really free to use?+

Yes. You can choose your country, browse templates, build your CV and preview it completely free. We only ask you to create a free account (just an email and password) when you are ready to download your CV.

What makes this a Gulf / UAE CV builder?+

It adds the details Gulf recruiters expect but Western résumés leave out — a professional photo, nationality and visa/residency status, plus fields like driving licence and notice period. Choose the UAE and these appear automatically; choose International for a generic CV.

Should I put a photo, nationality and visa status on my CV?+

In the UAE and across the GCC, yes — these are standard and recruiters look for them early. For the UAE we enable a photo and a personal-details block by default. Every personal field stays optional, so you control exactly what you share.

Is this CV builder ATS-friendly?+

Our templates use clean, standard headings (Profile, Experience, Education, Skills) and selectable text — not images — so the Applicant Tracking Systems used across GCC employers can read them reliably.

Can I use it for countries outside the Gulf?+

Yes. Pick "Other / International" at the start for a clean, generic CV without the Gulf-specific fields. You can switch country anytime from the editor and your content is kept.

Do I need to install anything to download a PDF?+

No. Click Download and use your browser’s built-in "Save as PDF" option. Tip: enable "Background graphics" in the print dialog so the coloured sidebar prints correctly.

Can I edit my CV later or make more than one?+

Yes. Your CVs are saved to your hub, where you can edit, switch the template or target country, download or delete them anytime.
